Hold Everything has announced an online-only sale, marking down bath storage products by either 20 percent (according to the subject line on the email) or by 15 percent (according to the text of the email). Either way, it's a savings.
Personally, I've had my eye on the Collins stackable cubes, which can be purchased in various configurations with wood doors, glass doors or shelves. At a depth of 14 inches, a cabinet of cubbies would fit unobstrusively along the wall in a certain bathroom. But what exactly would it take to tame our clutter -- the piles of magazines, books and hair products that litter virtually every square inch of this house -- and project a new, serene outlook on storage? I'm guessing we'd need about a million stackable cubes. And then, instead of a bouquet of flowers on top, you'd see more piles of books and hairbrushes.
For shoppers with neater families, the sale lasts until Sunday (unless that's wrong too, and it actually ends on Monday instead, or Saturday, or whatever day they settle on).
